In the future, we will establish bases in other South Pacific countries, manufacture products that make use of the natural blessings of the South Pacific, and will widely sell them worldwide

Origin of the company name

"MAI" is a Fijian word that means "from ○ ○". Our company name MAI NATURAL contains our philosophy of everything from nature. We help many people in the South Pacific region to live healthier and better lives through our products, which are the wonderful natural crystals of the South Pacific, and also to promote health and environmental awareness I hope that. We also plan to advance into fields other than chocolate, so we do not use the name chocolate as our company name. The name Fiji is not used. We do not use it because we will have bases in other countries in the future.

The problem of child labor has always been pointed out in cacao cultivation worldwide. We have confirmed that there is no child labor in the fields we partner with.

Chocolate is generally produced by plants in developed countries where cocoa beans produced in developing countries are purchased by companies in developed countries. Developing countries have only the opportunity to produce cocoa beans. By producing chocolate, the end product, in developing countries, people in developing countries have more employment opportunities and can generate economic benefits. In addition, we strive to create more employment by making it as carefully as possible with human hands, without excessive mechanization.

Generally, chocolate is purchased from chocolate makers around the world using Couverture chocolate, which is produced by companies such as Europe and cocoa beans produced in Africa and elsewhere. It is manufactured by melting it into molds again. During this time, how far have you traveled, and CO2 emissions? Considering food consumption as a response to environmental issues, it is not good to produce only such chocolate.

The souvenir chocolate gift box sold in Fiji is made in Australia. By selling Fiji chocolate based on raw materials produced in Fiji, we will minimize food mileage and contribute to environmental issues.
